Bird on a Rock is one of the House’s most emblematic creations. Created by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in 1965, the diamond-encrusted bird is a symbol of joy, optimism and wonder. Today, the celebrated brooch transforms into an array of pendants. Epitomising the unrivaled craftsmanship for which Tiffany is known, every gemstone for each Bird on a Rock is hand selected and hand set by our artisans. This 18k yellow gold and platinum pendant features a bird set with diamonds and pink sapphires on a cushion-cut tanzanite "rock."
