Deep Dive into The Tiffany Archives

The Seahorse chapter of Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder reimagines Jean Schlumberger’s famed 1968 seahorse brooches, infusing them with a contemporary sensibility. The new designs – such as this brooch set with over 12 carats of blue zircons, cabochon sapphires, moonstones and diamonds – elevate the original motif with flowing gold ‘ribbon’ details and a more abstract, modern interpretation of the original brooches.

Artisans crafted the Seahorse ring over a span of approximately 200 hours, setting the 18k yellow gold and platinum design with a blue zircon of over 10 carats, 80 round diamonds and six round cabochon sapphires.
